Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Growing up in a house hold with a DIY loving mom, I have always loved crafts, and activities. With being a nanny for a couple years I grew such a connection with the girls, I picked up on things they enjoyed doing. They loved crafts, playing outside, doing talent shows, and even just hanging out and getting some down time.
At the very beginning when both parents were working but school hadn’t started quite yet. I created days of the week that were assigned for different days. For instance- Talent show Tuesday. Which gave the girls a whole week to plan for their “big show” and we all sat and watched and cheered each other on for their big performances. I myself am a very hands on learner, so watching their minds work together and come up with such creative ideas, made it not only affective for them mentally, but physically. Aside from that, we loved playing and doing “kids stuff”, and allowing each day be up to them on what they wanted to do!
