Not necessarily nanny, but Sunday school teacher moment. A kid who always had trouble speaking and interacting with other kids opened up to me explaining his abuse he was experiencing at home. I immediately called in another teacher to watch my classroom, and got him help he needed and contacted authorities. His sister who got custody of him came back and thanked me later for my actions. I’m glad he is safe. He was such a sweetheart.
