The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important things about being a nanny are making connections with the kids as well as their parents. Being a nanny is an intimate job, so it's imperative that we build trusting relationships with the families we work with.
This work is more than just a job, and it should be. Being a nanny requires love and a family mindset.
Safety I would say is another important piece. Not only physically keeping the children safe, but also building the psychological safety so that the child wants you to be the one they confide in.
Fun I think is the last "most important" thing about being a nanny. Play is an important part of our learning and growth as humans, and should never be forgotten at any age or stage of development.
