I was babysitting a 2 year old girl who had a bad habit of climbing on the baby gate. Her parents wanted me to not intervene unless she was going to be injured. One day, she put her feet on the gate and then immediately slipped and fell backwards on her butt. I was prepared for her to cry and learn her lesson but instead, she laughed louder than I’d ever heard her laugh! Safe to say, she did not learn from this and continued to try and climb the gate haha
