More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 5 years of experience working in childcare, including experience with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Most recently, I worked at The Barnyard Daycare and Learning Center, where I was a lead teacher for 2 and 3 year-olds and also worked as an assistant in the infant room.

Through my childcare experience, I’ve developed strong skills in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children while supporting their individual needs and development. I’m comfortable with routines such as meals, naps, diapering, playtime, and age-appropriate learning activities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping kids engaged through activities that are both fun and educational. Some of my favorites are sensory activities that encourage fine-motor skills and early development, outdoor play, creating new games, simple science experiments 🧪, and cooking together. I especially enjoy finding activities that match a child’s interests and turning everyday moments into opportunities to learn and explore.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting relationship with both the children and their parents. I want parents to feel confident knowing their children are safe, cared for, and having fun while they’re away.

I love getting to know each child’s personality, helping them learn and grow, and creating memories they’ll remember. To me, being a nanny is about more than simply watching children—it’s about becoming someone they can trust, making their days exciting, and being a positive part of their childhood.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with ADHD and autism. I understand that every child is different and may need different approaches, routines, and forms of support. I’m patient, willing to learn, and always focused on making sure each child feels safe, understood, and included.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nannying memories was teaching a little girl how to swim. She was very scared of the water but really wanted to be able to enjoy the pool like everyone else. I started by teaching her how to blow bubbles and feel comfortable keeping herself above the water. We practiced together throughout the summer, and by the end of the summer she was swimming independently\! Seeing her go from being afraid of the water to confidently swimming on her own was such a rewarding experience.
