From 2015 to 2017, I volunteered at my former church where I assisted with supervising toddlers during services. In this role, I helped ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children. That experience sparked my deep love for caring for children especially with toddlers and babies.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really love spending meaningful time with children, especially as a mom. One of my favorite things to do is read tactile and interactive books that spark their curiosity and help them learn through touch and exploration. I also enjoy the outdoors to experience the beauty of nature—whether it’s feeling the breeze, looking at trees, or simply enjoying fresh air together. I believe these simple moments create sweet memories while helping little ones grow and discover the world around them.

For me, the most rewarding part of being a nanny is seeing the fruits of our care unfold—watching children grow, learn, and thrive knowing that your love, attention, and guidance helped them along the way.
My experience with special needs children...
I babysit my 6-year-old autistic sister occasionally on the weekends when my Dad and stepmom needed a night out. This taught me a lot about patience and understanding her unique needs. I made sure to spend quality time with her, engaging in ways she enjoyed, and helped her follow her routines—especially bedtime, making sure she felt calm and comfortable as she fell asleep. This experience has given me greater understanding and empathy for children with special needs and confidence in providing attentive, individualized care.
