My younger brother has a traumatic brain injury. he is now 21, and i have spent most of my life taking care of him. I also studied special needs early childhood education in college before switching gears to healthcare, so i have experience with special needs children and adults in a healthcare/non healthcare setting.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I babysat the sweetest, kindest kid you'd ever meet for about six months. every day i would get him up for school and put him on the bus, and right when the bus came he would always hug me and tell me what he wanted for breakfast the next day(since i didn't see him when he got home) and say "See you tomorrow have a good day!" he was adorable!
