I’ve gained hands-on experience working with children in various settings. I regularly take care of my nieces after school, where I help with activities, meal prep, and keeping them engaged. Additionally, I took an elective at Sunnyside High School, where I cared for children of teenage students, ranging from 5 months to 3 years old. During that time, I learned how to manage the needs of younger children, from feeding and diaper changes to keeping them entertained and ensuring their safety. This experience has strengthened my ability to be patient, attentive, and nurturing with kids.
