Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was raised in the world of early childhood education. Since my mother was a preschool teacher, I spent my childhood assisting her in summer camps and after-school programs. By the time I reached high school, I was already a seasoned volunteer and babysitter with a natural gift for leading-even serving as a Girl Scout leader.
Becoming a mother only deepened my passion for child development. I enjoy 'playdate-style' care, where I bring my son along to engage in structured group activities, ensuring every child feels included, socialized, and nurtured.

My caregiving style is active and intentional.
Whether we are: The Kitchen Lab: Cooking meals together (a passion I use to feed the homeless in my free time) to learn about math and nutrition. The Great Outdoors: Transforming a backyard into a 'summer camp' or visiting local springs to learn about ecology. Community Discovery: Finding hidden gems, museums, and local events to turn every outing into an educational expedition

I believe every child deserves the best start in life, but I also understand the reality of parenting. It is difficult to give your all every single day when you are managing the emotional and financial weight of a household. We all need a helping hand sometimes! I love offering that support and bringing fresh energy and new caregiving techniques to help ease the load and enrich your children's lives.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with kids who were non-verbal, mostly Level 1 and Level 2 where they’d require support but were still very independent. The biggest issue they had was getting overstimulated, hitting or screaming.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Traveling to South Carolina with my family and staying on a lake side cabin and taking the kids on different adventures throughout nature, hanging out with a boy/girls scout group that was there at the same time as us and taking them fishing! We had so much fun they were crying when it was time to go back home lol.
