I love playing sports and games with kids to keep them active. I also find it fun doing various arts and crafts with kids. One of my kids I work with favorite activities we do together is to create escape rooms. They require a lot of thought and creativity. They love trying to solve them after too.

I find that the most important part about being a nanny is building a strong relationship with the children. I love being a role model for them and connecting with them on a deeper level. I understand that the kids I am with look up to me, so I make sure I always handle situations with patience and care.
My experience with special needs children...
I have volunteered for various events that have led to my involvement in care for special needs children. One of my favorites was helping them learn how to ride a bike. I have also volunteered for the Special Olympics. I helped during the flag football skills section. I cheered and encouraged the participants. I took notes of the scores and times for them all.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite funny moments with the kids I took care of in the summer was when we played with water balloons. We of course threw them at each other, but I also took slo-mo videos of them hitting the water balloons with a bat. They loved asking me about their form since I played softball in college, and it was especially funny when we got them missing the balloon.
