I worked as a paid employee at a childcare nursery teacher at church for two years. I worked specifically with two year olds, but also got experience with all ages. I got to be a safe leader for them, as well as a teacher who taught character development and growing moments; such as communication, helping children figure out what they need, helping them become aware of their feelings, helping them learn to say sorry and apologize, and how to open up a little bit. It was a very rewarding two years. I learned SO much.
