During late middle school and early high school I would work summer school for elementary students coming up with activities and helping them on school work. This also included working swimming lessons for a few weeks each summer.
I babysat frequently for one of my high school teachers when they needed and still occasionally watch his kids when I am home from Madison.
My cousin has two kids under 4 and I spent all of January looking after them.
Lastly, I am a big sister of 4 so I have spent many years taking care of my younger siblings, especially in the summer when my parents were gone at work!

I’m a high-energy nanny who loves keeping kids active and engaged. I enjoy dance parties, playing outside, and planning activities that get kids moving and having fun. At the same time, I value calm moments too, so I love reading together and creating cozy downtime routines that help kids relax and recharge.

The most important part of being a nanny to me is becoming someone the children can trust and feel safe with. I believe in building strong, positive relationships so kids genuinely look forward to spending time together. I also value clear, open communication with parents to make sure we’re working as a team and supporting the children consistently.

One funny nanny moment was when I tried to teach a simple clean-up routine, and it somehow turned into a full “cleaning dance” where we were singing and racing to put toys away. What started as a chore ended up being one of their favorite games, and it reminded me how humor and creativity can turn everyday moments into something fun. Now it is something I think about each time I am picking up my own space and makes me laugh every time.
