The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. It’s not just about watching them, but really being there for them playing, helping with their routine, and making sure they feel understood. Every kid is different, so I think it’s really important to be patient and flexible. You also have to be someone the parents can trust, and someone the kids feel happy around.

I have cared for children with autism. My experience includes supporting their routines, helping with communication, and being patient and understanding of sensory needs or emotional regulation. I’ve learned how important consistency and calmness are, and I enjoy finding ways to connect with each child based on their interests and comfort level.
