For 3 years I looked after 4 children that included an infant, toddler, child, and preteen. During this I would do housework around the home, cook meals, and help with their homework.

I enjoy coloring and teaching kids schoolwork. I also enjoy taking them to the park, playing with toys, and outdoor activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is teaching kids good values, and allowing them to feel loved and cared for even when their parents may not be home. I dont personally believe kids should be left at home by themselves, as it can potentially cause issues in the future. However, that being said, most parents work throughout the week or have other obligations in order to provide for their kids, so during that time nannies and babysitters are vital to ensure their child is cared for.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently do not have work experience with special needs children, however I have been around families with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was teaching one child to swim during the summer. It was so rewarding to show them a valuable life skill, and in the following years taking them to the pool and watching it become one of their favorite activites.
