Hi there! I'm a teacher looking to branch out from education. I have a BA and MA in Spanish language and linguistics, so I'm looking for an opportunity to nanny kids and provide them with an immersive Spanish language experience. My husband and I are relocating to Lubbock over the summer after our wedding. I love children and am looking to nanny for a family who I can become a part of. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. I am also willing to do light housekeeping.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a teacher for various grade levels, including 4th through 8th grade and university level. I also have young nieces and nephews, a younger sister, and cousins who have all been under my care in several instances. I am CPR and First Aid certified due to my role as an educator.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love baking with kids, I think it's so fun! I also would love to swim, bike, do arts and crafts, and/or go to the park with the kids I nanny.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think every child deserves to have adults they trust in their lives. This creates a safe space for them. When their parent(s) are gone, they should be left with someone they love and trust. Nannying gives a child a consistent familiar face that they can feel safe with.
