A little bit about me

I was born and raised in California and grew up knowing how the first five years are the most crucial building blocks for a child. At this age, I believe it’s more about the relationship each child is building rather than the action itself. I love each child as if they were my own and I practically cry every time a new milestone is hit lol. I’ve been interacting with children and even children with disabilities for really as long as I can remember. I do speak Spanish and although my French is a bit rusty, I try to do daily exercises to progress. I love kids, of all ages, all day everyday, and believe that no matter the task there’s always fun to have and something to learn.

"Brittany worked for me at my childcare facility for roughly a year and was AMAZING!! Everyone has a calling and I truly believe working with children is hers. All of the kids adored her. Safety, and proper procedures was her main priority. I always admired how she spoke to children as if they were real people with legitimate concerns, rather than dismiss their feelings as some of us can be guilty of doing from time to time. The older kids always felt comfortable venting to her, and the parents always explained to me how happy they were with Brittany, and shared stories their children would share to them about Brittany. Any child and parent would be blessed to have Brittany as a nanny, I know my kids from the facility were, as was I to have her there."

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

On my days off you could find me volunteering at the boys and girls club, or spending time with my niece(5) and nephews(8-12), I previously worked at a daycare specializing in children 6weeks to age 5, and am currently part time as a behavioral therapist for kids with autism! There’s really no extent of children I won’t care for :)

My younger brother has been diagnosed with autism since he was 2, and throughout my whole life I’ve been heavily involved with not just children with autism and special needs, but a proud and long supporter, coach, and volunteer of Special Olympics too
