I love anything involving playtime outside, as long as it isn’t too hot. I love making up games revolving around things they need to learn for the upcoming or current school year & making it fun. I think eating healthy is important, but part of that is loving what you make & I think kids who are curious about helping in the kitchen is great. I want to help them learn what they eat can be fun.

Is understanding patience. They’re humans that have big feelings just like adults, they just haven’t learned how to process & express them yet. Being able to work through that & create an environment where it’s safe to express those emotions & learn from them is vital.

I’ll never forget when I was helping potty train/teaching them how to wipe themselves. I got called into the bathroom after possibly 2 minutes alone (I checked on him of course, but he said he wanted to do it alone) . He had unrolled half the toilet paper & asked if it was enough or if he needed more 😂 I told him it was plenty & explained the amount needed & how to fold it, etc.. it was such a cute moment.
