Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteer at a summer camp for foster and adopted children. I have 2 nieces and a little sister that I babysit often. I was the assistant teacher in the mobiles/infants division for almost a year.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing games, singing songs, making food, coloring, going to parks, and other projects. I love to get their bodies moving and their brains engaged.
I’m also interested in continuing to learn about child development, particularly emotional regulation and age-appropriate activities that encourage fine motor skills, gross motor skills, communication, and social development. I enjoy finding ways to make everyday activities fun while helping children learn and grow.

Transportation
I have my own reliable vehicle and am comfortable transporting children to and from school, daycare, appointments, activities, or other outings. Mileage reimbursement would be requested for transportation related to the job. Families would need to provide an appropriate car seat if their child requires one.
I am currently employed, so I would need approximately two weeks' notice before beginning a new position in order to give my current employer proper notice.
Rates
- 1 child: $25/hour
- 2 children: $28/hour
- 3 children: $31/hour
Most importantly, I’m not just looking for any childcare job. I’m looking for the right family that I can genuinely help and become a trusted part of their support system. My sister has fetal alcohol syndrome and tourettes syndrome as well as ADHD and some others. My brother also has Tourettes, FASD, ADHD, and DMDD.
