It can be hard to find someone you trust with your children, and I have been that person for several families. I keep in touch with almost all of the families I have worked for. Even if it was for a brief time, I connected with the children and their parents, and became a part of their family.

Taking the two girls I nannied for in California for a drive through Christmas lights. We packed hot chocolate in thermoses and brought candy canes. Seeing the joy in their eyes made me cry! This became a tradition for us for several years.
