A little bit about me

I am 20 and I don't really remember a time where I wasn't around kids a lot. My aunt owned an in home daycare and I lived with her for about a year. I have worked in 2 daycares. I was also a live in nanny for 6 kids for about a year but babysat those same kids 2 years prior. Then I worked in a grouphome with children that have special needs, medical and behavioral kids. Ages 4 to 21. Being outside or in museums are definitely better than being inside all day. When we are at home we are doing crafts and learning activities. Having fun and learning are very important to me!

I currently work in a group home for children that have special needs. Ages ranging from 4 to 21. I also help my best friend and her sister with their kids ages 5 months to 7 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to be outside with the kids when it is nice out. Or on cold or rainy days I like to paint or color or play games.

You get to work with the kids at a smaller ratio than if they were in a daycare.

I have a little sister with special needs and I have helped with her for about 3 years now. Also, I work for Lifescape childrens services in the dorms. Which is basically a group jome for behavioral kids and medically complexed kids.
