I was raised in a military family, married a Marine, and have 2 grown boys that are my heart. I love reading, crafting, being active, cooking, and helping others. I have experience in childcare (pre-school for 4yrs) and was a live in nanny for 4yrs, but that was many moons ago. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started my nanny career when I was 20, and then 4 yrs after that I had my own children. I have taught preschool, raised my own 2 boys and homeschooled some of those yrs. I am cpr certified, but I let it lapse…I’m also a certified CNA, in which I let lapse too. My husband was in the marines and got hurt so we went through many challenging yrs working through his disability's. I had mainly got those certifications so I could better equip him.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being creative, art, reading, and helping your child do whatever it is they love. I honestly love doing anything with kids. Mine are grown and I remember just how special those days were!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me the most important thing is to get on the level of your child and really get to know them. I want them to feel safe and free….but, also help instill the parents rules and boundaries. Also, being consistent and really being there for your child is so important to me!
