Hi! My name is Brooke and I am a 24 year old artist fresh out of college at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago looking to support local families when i'm not making art. I love working with children and have years of experience in babysitting and teaching children. I have volunteered previously as a choir instructor for ages k-6 and have watched many family and friends children for extended periods of time from newborn to middle school. I love to be outside and walking, and always coming prepared with fun activities and educational challenges for kids to engage with. I have two dogs back at home in New Hampshire and currently have a rabbit in my apartment here in Chicago. I am looking forward to meeting new families and creating bonds that last.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love being able to grow bonds between kids and their surroundings, watching a childs development and progress socially and emotionally always brings me to tears. Being able to form a significant bond with kids in their formative years means so much to me also because it is virtually impossible for me to have children. I get to share these experiences and provide care for a family that needs the additional help.

I always love to see when the kids I watch get excited to see me rather than being miserable that their parents are leaving. I love to see that I can make a positive impact and that having me around isn't causing the child distress or discomfort in being away from their parents. I love doing little car washes throughout the summer with older kids they always have a blast and you get a clean car from it!
