A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is Brooklyn and I am a pre-medicine undergraduate student at Portland State University. Before working as a nanny to three wonderful special needs boys I worked as a caregiver in a long term residential care facility for two years. This job gave me extensive knowledge on how to work with all age groups with all different kinds of disabilities. I am one of seven children and have brothers who are on varying spots on the autism spectrum and this gave me a passion for working with children with special needs. I have also worked for a family whose child is neurotypical and have loved every minute of it. As I am a full time student my schedule has to be worked around for classes and testing and I may not be able to work as much during finals weeks and such, but with most classes online my schedule is still mostly very open!
