A little bit about me

The kids love me and I love the kids! A little about me, my start in childcare began when I was 17 years old. I worked as a babysitter for two children ages 4 and 6. I worked with that family until they moved just last year in 2022. From there, I worked as a summer camp counselor for the YMCA with children ages 6-8; after being a summer camp counselor, I decided I wanted to continue and work during the school year and I worked as an after school counselor. I fell in love with working with children and decided to work as at a day school instructor to infants aged 9 months to 14 months. That was the job that solidified my interest in my major in college. I am a current full-time college student majoring in Early Childhood Development with a minor in Spanish. I will be graduating in the Fall of 2024 and am excited to begin my career guiding children to be the best versions of themselves as an instructor and leader.

I am always looking for creative ways to make everyday activities fun for children whether it is playtime or clean-up time. I love going out to the park or taking a stroll around the neighborhood to expel some energy or get in some activity. And, I am pretty quick on my feet when it comes to making different activities fun and useful.

The most important part about being a nanny is making a positive impact on the children's lives. A person's childhood determines their entire life and as caregivers, it is important to be one person in their life that can be a great leader and be a good memory for them. Children are our future and I fully believe in breathing life into the future leaders we need.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I can finally see the children getting used to me and opening up more. When they are excited to hear that I am coming because they know it will be a fun day. I love to see the joy on their faces when they really incorporate me into their daily life and think of me as family.
