I worked at Children’s Dallas as a Patient Care Tech on their neurosciences floor, at ABC Pediatrics (TX) (ABA clinic working with kiddos on the autism spectrjm) as Behavior Technician, and worked with children and adolescents as a Behavioral Health Counselor at an inpatient/residential eating disorder center in Colorado.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being outside more than anything! Walks, hikes, playing on the swings- if it’s outdoors, it’s for me. I mostly just like being active and engaged with kiddos- so when being outside isn’t possible… dance parties, reading, letting them tell me how to play with their toys, etc!
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve worked with kiddos who have had medical, physical, and intellectual disabilities between working in a hospital and an ABA clinic. Please ask me any questions you may have!
