A little bit about me

I’ve always had a strong nurturing instinct, which started early with helping care for my younger brother. Growing up, my mom worked as a paraeducator and would often babysit children, and I loved assisting her from the time I was 13. My role making sure the kids felt safe, engaged, and had fun. In high school, I began volunteering with my family at our church, supporting kids and families in need. I gained full time experience caring for a newborn when my mother’s friend returned to work after giving birth. That taught me a lot about responsibility and patience. Since starting college, I’ve worked in daycares with children of all ages, gaining experience in structured settings and learning how to adapt to each child’s unique needs. I’m currently a college student working toward becoming a pediatric dental hygienist combining my love of childcare with a passion for healthcare. I’m excited to bring my experience, patience, and energy to families who need a reliable and caring sitter.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve gained hands on experience through volunteering with my family to support children in need and working in daycare settings with kids of all ages. These roles helped me develop strong skills in childcare, from creating engaging activities to managing routines and offering emotional support. I’m confident in my ability to provide safe, attentive, and positive care in any situation.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing hands on and creative activities with children like coloring, reading books, and playing educational games. I also love helping them learn through play, teaching basic skills like numbers, letters, and sharing, all while making sure they’re having fun and feeling supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting and caring relationship with the children; being someone they feel safe with, can rely on, and learn from. It’s about nurturing their growth not just physically, but emotionally and mentally, and celebrating their little victories every day.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve had experience working with children with special needs through both daycare settings and personal connections. I’ve learned the importance of patience, clear communication, and adapting to each child’s individual needs. Whether it’s offering extra support with routines or using creative ways to engage them, I always aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where they feel safe and included.

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a nanny, my favorite moments are when I see children applying what they’ve learned in everyday life whether it’s using new words, practicing skills, or showing kindness. Watching them grow and gain confidence makes all the effort truly rewarding.
