More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an assistant teacher at Visions and Dreams learning center for a good while before I started college. I have ran workshops for kids in the summer, and I have volunteered with kids for school and community service!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor- reading books, listening to music and dancing, helping teach lessons and go over homework, little cooking lessons, playing games, playing hide and seek, letting them play Roblox on my iPad sometimes lol.
Outdoor- playing tag, playing with footballs and basketballs, picnics, and more.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is becoming someone both parents and children can truly trust. I want to leave a positive and lasting impact on the kids I care for. While working in a daycare, I witnessed a lot of yelling and harsh behavior toward children, and that never sat right with me. I believe kids deserve patience, understanding, and respect.
Because of my age, I see myself as someone children can view as a supportive older friend—someone they feel comfortable coming to for help—rather than a harsh authority figure they feel afraid of. At the end of the day, I know I’m not anyone’s parent, but I take pride in being someone who shows up, listens, and genuinely makes a difference. Being there for people and helping make their days better is something I truly care about.

My experience with special needs children...
My youngest brother was born with special needs, and even as a young child, I would help my mother out with him. He sadly passed in 2012, but he taught me to treat all people equally even at that young of an age. Growing up, I have made it my mission to make people with disabilities, adhd, autism, mental health issues and more feel welcomed and accepted just like anyone else.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I’ve had many meaningful memories working with children, but a few truly stand out to me. One of my favorites is babysitting my neighbors when they were babies. Now, every time they see me, they call me their “best friend” and ask when I can come over to watch them again. Moments like that remind me how strong and lasting the bonds with children can be.
At the daycare, one of my favorite experiences was with the pre-k class. After I made them bracelets one day, they surprised me the next day by drawing pictures for me. That small gesture showed me how something as simple as a bracelet can make a child feel special and leave a lasting impression. When they gave me their drawings, I honestly teared up. In that moment, I realized I had truly found my calling working with children.
