Hello! My name is Cameron I am 18 years old. I graduated High School last year and i’m studying Business right now online through FSW. I currently work at The Bowl I was promoted from a Bowl Rep to a Keyholder and then promoted again to an Assistant Manager. I have been there for almost 2 years now and want to change things up and a full time nanny job would be perfect for me. I love kids so much, my only constant goal in life is to become a mother one day. I have been babysitting and nannying for about 3 years. I was a nanny full time before I got my job at The Bowl and then would babysit part time for 2-3 different families. I am extremely responsible and mature for my age, i’ve been watching kids since I was 15 and it’s honestly my favorite thing to do. I love building bonds with the kids I watch and really get to know them, I always looked up to the older people in my life and I love being that person for the kids I watch.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Nanny for 3 boys, 2 in elementary and 1 in middle school. I would pick them up from school and take them to any sports and after school activities. I would make them dinner and help with homework and put them to bed. I also babysat for another family I was with them for about a year and they had 2 boys one was 4 and one was 6. I started out by just watching them while the parents went on dates and then I started taking more responsibility with them such as picking them up from school taking them to appointments taking them to their sports sometimes I would take them to sky zone or gametime to have a fun day. I would read to them and with them and put them to bed every night as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to plan fun things to do when i’m babysitting or nannying. My go to is a pool day, I am very responsible when it comes to swimming with kids I have a lot of experience I even took a swim class with a 4 year old I used to babysit. I also plan fun things for them like scavenger hunts with prizes at the end. I love playing tag and hide and seek as well that’s a big go to of mine. I love taking kids to gametime as well they always have so much fun! I am huge on getting surprises for the kids I babysit even if it’s a small little basket for halloween or valentine’s day sometimes I will randomly surprise them with small toys and it always makes them so happy!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment I had with the family I used to be with was when I was taking care of a 4 year old boy and I was trying to put him to sleep but he was having so much trouble settling down so I sat with him and told him a bedtime story and just as he was about to fall asleep he gave me the biggest hug and told me he loved me so much. It makes me so happy to hear things like that from kids because I always looked up to the older people in my life and to know i’m that person to someone else brings me so much joy.
