I worked at the Glencoe Park district as a camp counselor (Summer of 2014), preschool camp director (Summer of 2016), as well as having my own preschool sports class and coaching different sports for 1st-6th graders. Not only that but I also made the lunch for both preschool programs at the Glencoe Park District (from [phone number hidden]).

I enjoy discovering what makes a kid smile and laugh. I want to help their curiosity grow and provide an environment they will thrive in. I have always been extremely active my whole life from being on a travel soccer team to snowboarding for over 15 years.

To be understanding and calm. Not every day is going to be a "perfect" day for a kid and it's so crucial to provide a space for them to know that they can communicate their thoughts and feelings without being judged and that they will be heard.

It's hard to pick a "favorite" moment when it comes to all the different kids I have worked with over the years. It varies from starting with them when they are so young and barely able to say my name to being able to call me Cameron. Or their excitement because it's "slurpee Wednesday" which to my boys I've nannied since 2014 that we go to 7/11 and get a slurpee and a snack of their choice. It's the little moments that mean the most.
