I enjoy art, music, sports – helping with homework and tutoring. (all subjects 2nd- 8th grade).
Some of my students called me the "cheerleader teacher". I think children need to build confidence and be lifelong learners – it's possible to have fun doing that too!

I would assume that it is probably the same as with any children – to help them feel confident, secure, and enjoy the time with them - sharing and learning new experiences.

My adopted daughter had many challenges as a special needs child.
We worked through many of those challenges, and researched the best special classes in school for her. I'm familiar with IEPs and the time parents put in to make a happy life for them.

I've never been a nanny.
But, now that I am retired, and have worked with some elders, I thought it would be fun to work with children also.
