Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do anything with kids that gets them exploring, being creative, and learning to be active. When I watch kids, we like to get outside, explore, go on walks, and also do fun activities inside, like crafts, games, and other fun things to help them grow. I often bring crafts and new toys to play with, as this is fun for kids to explore new toys together. With babies, I love to be very engaged by talking and singing to them, and playing as well. My rule for babysitting and nannying has always been as little screen time as possible (for both me and the kids!) because I think it is important for kids to learn and grow without constant screens!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Getting to help kids learn, grow, thrive, explore the world around them, and learn to become a good person! Getting to laugh with and teach kids new things, and have fun with them! Getting to help families out and be an extra person to love on the kiddos and pour into them is amazing!
