All throughout high school I tutored, babysat, and worked at an elementary school after school program. I also tutored with the special needs program at my high school all 4 years. I can cook, clean, help with homework, and still make all of it fun!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

. I volunteered this past year at my old elementary school at thier after school program. I also used to babysit for a family of 4 starting at the age of 13 for a 9 year old, 7 year old, 3 year old, and 7 month old baby. they are now 5 years older and I still babysit for them occasionally.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

outdoor- water play, chalk, going for walks, finding and identifying bugs and plants, running and playing
indoor- baking (safely), playing board games, drawing/arts and crafts, dance parties, karaoke, obstacle courses,
whatever else the child likes to do

The most important part about being a nanny...

something very important to me is to teach kindness to children. Not everyone needs to have the same beliefs but I believe everyone should be kind because you never know what someone else is going through. simple things like sharing, giving a compliment, or doing a good deed could make someones day.

My experience with special needs children...

my younger sister has autism so I have grown up with it. also most of my cousins have autism aswell and I babysit them often. I have also tutored in the special needs program at my high school.
