My experience with special needs children...
I have not worked directly one on one with special needs children but there have been a couple special needs children in my classes and I work well with them and treat them like the other kids with extra care. I understand sensory sensitivity and understand some special needs need certain accommodations due to their sensory sensitivity. I never treat them differently than I do my other students.
