Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a daycare teacher while I lived in Oregon completing my psychology degree. I worked there for two years where I consistently cared for children aged 3months all the way up to grade school. I spent my time as a teacher taking care of the children's safety and making sure they felt listened to and heard. Since I took a particular interest in children's psychology, I was able to apply a lot of what I was learning to the children in my immediate community. Now that I've moved back home to Montana, I would love to bring what I've learned to the families in my home town. Although my main priority will be ensuring the safety and wellbeing of your son or daughter, I want to make sure to build a strong relationship with you (the parents) as well!
