Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered at my districts elementary school for their free summer program where we work with all age elementary school kids and watch them for a few hours in the mornings. My mom used to have her own in home daycare where I grew up and would help her out as much as I could. My mom’s best friend owns an in home daycare and I help her as she needs with any child care. I have a lot of kids in my family ages 0-10 years old that I have watched and taken care of. I am my family’s go-to babysitter and I enjoy it every time!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I would do anything I’m allowed to do with the kids especially if they want to do it. I can take them to the park, walk around the mall, go out for a treat/lunch, go for a walk, go for a jog, bike rides, trampoline parks and so much more!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is keeping the children safe and having a special bond with them and the parents. I want to be able to be there for the kids and be the person they are excited to see.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven’t had as much experience with special needs children but I have volunteered for the past 3 years at the special Olympics and help out with buddies/ the IU students at my school(High School) as much as I can.
