A little bit about me

My name is Carmen and I am the mother of four amazing teenage boys.
I have worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for over 25 years, in a variety of roles. I have had extensive training and education. I have my B.S. in Child Psychology, and I am first aid, fire safety and cpr certified. I also have worked as an RBT for a year.
I am looking to leave the classroom and work in a more intimate and familial environment.
I am patient, nurturing and gentle, but firm as well. I enjoy organizing and attending to detail. I move well with predictability but also respect flexibility. I have an understanding of child development which supports me as I care for and teach young children.

I definitely look forward to working with a family that knows they can benefit from my experience and skill.
