Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When weather does not permit outdoor activities, I try to play board games, plan on cooking something, video games, make a fort or set up an activity the child would like to do with the help of their input.
If weather is working in our favor, I try to see what the child is feeling and going from there. Some activities include a playground, splash pad, the beach, a state park, a museum.

The most important thing about being a nanny is to put the child’s best interest and safety first. There will be times when a child want to do something but it is not in the best interest regarding rules allowed. I always try to suggest something that is fun and within the boundaries.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment caring for children is when a child is comfortable enough around me to try a new food recommendation and they like it! Most of the children I have cared for have been somewhat picky eaters(just like me as a child). So when they like something new, it's always fun. Plus they get really excited telling their parents about it!
