More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I grew up going to nanny jobs with my mom, so being around kids has always been a big part of my life. I started babysitting when I was 12 and have loved working with children ever since. I’ve cared for kids of all ages, from infants to teens, and also worked at a Montessori school where I helped with daily routines, activities, and creating a fun, positive environment for children to learn and grow. I’m patient, reliable, and love building genuine connections with the families I work with!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping kids active, engaged, and having fun! Some of my favorite activities include going on walks, playing at the park, doing arts and crafts, reading books, building forts, playing board games, baking, and coming up with fun pretend-play adventures. I also enjoy sensory activities, outdoor play, and age-appropriate learning activities. I try to follow each child’s interests while encouraging creativity, independence, and lots of fun. I prefer limited screen time and enjoy finding hands-on ways to keep children entertained and engaged throughout the day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important thing is letting kids truly be kids. I want to be that safe, stable presence where they don’t have to worry about grown-up things. I care a lot about creating space where they can laugh, play, learn, and just be themselves, knowing I’m there for them. I want them to feel carefree and supported, the way every child deserves.

My experience with special needs children...

I haven’t worked as a full-time nanny for special needs kiddos yet, but I have babysat for children with autism and Down syndrome. In those experiences, I worked closely with the parents to understand routines, communication needs, and how to best support their child. I’m always learning and open to adapting, and I value creating a calm, understanding environment where every child feels safe and included.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It was such a special moment because this little 14-month-old was super attached to her mom. One day, it was just me and her while mom was busy, and out of nowhere, she reached out for me. It was the first time she wanted me to comfort her, and I felt this huge sense of trust. Moments like that just stay with you!
