Indoor -- movies on rainy days, as well as board games, reading books (!) and LOTS of arts and crafts... whatever will let them have a good time but also stimulate the brain!

I cared for a 16 year old girl with down syndrome and autism for about a month of the summer in 2020. As a counselor, I also had to care for many children (ages 7-10) on the autism spectrum, as well as had a camper with down syndrome.
