Hi! My name is Caroline, and I’m a rising senior at Florida Southern College studying marketing, and I’ll be graduating early this fall. I’m originally from New York but currently live in Florida while finishing school.

I’ve always grown up around kids and naturally love being around them. I’m one of five children, so I’ve been used to a busy, fun household my whole life. Growing up in a loving Christian home really shaped who I am and taught me the importance of kindness, patience, responsibility, and creating a positive environment for others.

Because of that background, caring for kids has always come very naturally to me. For the past two summers, I’ve worked as a full-time nanny, and it’s been such a rewarding experience. I love building relationships with the kids I watch, helping them learn new things, keeping them active, and making sure they feel safe, supported, and happy. The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me as a nanny is creating a safe, positive environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. I want them to feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn and grow each day. Building trust with both the children and their parents is really important to me, and I always try to be someone families can rely on. I also love keeping kids engaged through play, outdoor activities, and learning moments while making sure they feel cared for and valued.

My experience with special needs children...

I previously cared for two nonverbal children with autism, which was an incredibly meaningful experience. I worked closely with them to understand their communication styles, using patience, structure, and alternative ways of communicating to help them feel comfortable and supported.
