Hello! I am Caroline and I am a student at App State. I am home for the summer and would love to help out a family in need of babysitting/nannying! I have two little brothers who I have been babysitting my whole life. I have volunteered for my church’s vacation Bible school every summer for the last 8 years as a preschool teacher. I have also been a nanny for 2 years and was a nanny for a child that needed special care because of disabilities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I try my hardest to get children away from screens. I will do any games outside, can take them to parks or trails. I also have a lot of board or card games for rainy days!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters the most to me about being a nanny is gaining a child’s respect and trust. I want the children I watch to feel comfortable with me and be a person that may feel like a safe space for them!

My experience with special needs children...

In highschool I was director of my schools project unify club which gave me a lot of experience interacting with special needs children. This also gave me a nanny job for a special needs child over a summer.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was watching twin boys for a night. I was putting them to bed and they were scared to fall asleep alone. they had bunk beds so I held their hands until they fell asleep. My arms were so tired but they were so sweet I couldn’t let go!
