"Carrie immediately "got" my very shy twin girls, and engaged them in really creative ways that met their needs and interests. She saw them as two unique, individual kids (which didn't always happen in other preschool/classroom situations) and with that, recognized their unique strengths, challenges, likes and dislikes. My kids take time to feel comfortable with new adults, and she made them feel safe to be silly and open with her. They adore her. She is very good at child-led nannying and teaching. She doesn't push, but instead gently guides kids. Even though she worked with us years ago as our nanny, she has continued to be in our kids' lives to this day. She's a fantastic role model, so positive, and talented in sports, arts and crafts, singing, and writing. My girls always did such fun projects with her. Any family who works with Carrie would be incredibly lucky. She's such a joy to be around!"

More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts, homeschooling Pre-K through 5th grade. Reading, Creative Writing, playwriting, theatre, sports (all, but coached High School Varsity Volleyball and Basketball) , dance, low and high ropes, music-singing, ukulele, handbells, clarinet. Games, really anything fun, safe, educational, inspirational, to help them flourish and be successful.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I would say the most important part about being a nanny for me is really supporting the parents in establishing and maintaining a healthy and happy home environment for their family.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most memorable moments are when one of kids gets potty trained or learns something new like reading or writing their name. Something that makes them feel good about themselves or accomplished.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Vancouver, WA: Baylee D.
Hi, I'm Baylee!
I'm a big kid at heart and caring for others is a true passion of mine. Thus over the years I've learned to combine these two traits and strengthen my skills as a child care provider. I'm confident in my ability to adapt to various parenting styles, recognizing and respecting the dynamic of the family I'm working for and creating my own role within that. I will love your kiddos like no other and I will always be thoughtful - keeping their (and your) best interest in my heart and mind.

I've worked with families with children ranging in age from 9 days to 6 years. I have prior experience working with special needs children.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Vancouver, WA: Kennedy C.
I’ve always loved being around kids. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old. Right now I’m a full time nanny for a family with 4 girls. They are full of energy and brighten up my day! I enjoy doing fun outings, crafts, and being active with the kids all while making sure the kids are in safe and comfortable environment and also being on a reasonable schedule. Recently I moved farther from the family I work for and am looking for a job closer to home, in Vancouver. I’m able to adapt to how the family wants me to work with their children!
