Hello! I'm Cassana Gomez, a passionate and dedicated 25-year- old with extensive experience in caring for children of all ages. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing. I bring creativity, patience, and a nurturing spirit to every childcare opportunity! I am living In Tacoma, WA with my best friend and her 4 year old son!I have been watching over babies and children (of all ages) since I was 10. I am the oldest of 3! I grew up with my father in the Army, so I was able to experience many cultures growing up. I also have knowledge on what it is like to have a hectic and chaotic household. I have lived in Florida, Georgia, Germany, Washington State, Missouri, Texas, back to Fl and now back here! On my off time, I like to spend time with my friends that I have built a family community with, read, watch movies, go for hikes with our fur babies, go to music festivals and overall try to live life to the fullest. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a lifeguard at Volcano Bay at Universal Studios in FL! I was there for the safety of children in the kids play area.
I was a nanny to a family before COVID-19 hit for about a year before they moves back home to Boston. They had 3 children, two 6 year old twin boys and a 3 year old daughter.
I also nannies for another family before moving back to WA where they had 3 daughters, ages 12, 9, and 3.
I have also babysat kids of all ages throughout my child and adult life!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Swimming, reading, going for walks, playgrounds, board games, coloring, and much more!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is to form a connection with the kids. Let them be heard and have their needs meet. To teach them new things and to explore the world with an open mind :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was able to come along to the kids first time to Disney. It was a truly magical moment watching their little faces light up at seeing their favorite characters. One of the boys was a little daredevil so I took him on his first big rollercoaster Space Mountain. He screamed the whole time but got off the ride with a huge smile on his first asking to go again. It was one of the best days i have ever had
