A little bit about me

Hello :) My name is Cassandra! I have a sister who is 10 years older so you can say I have done my share of babysitting between her and her friends. Also, I have worked at the YMCA summer camp for 5 summers in a row with children and absolutely loved it. On top of that I was an assistant coach for a t-ball team, I have taught dance, I have worked in a Montessori classroom as an assistant teacher, I worked as a lead infant teacher at a daycare as well as some time in other classrooms, I've nannied and looked after many infants. I have years experience with newborns, infants, twins and multiples. Infants are my passion. I love watching them grow and helping them through their early stages. I have so much experience with all of the milestones from newborn-toddler, it's such a joy to see them progress!! I look forward to hopefully hearing from you!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy getting out and about with kiddos. Going on adventures, taking them to places such as the zoo and aquarium, I like to make most experiences teaching experiences where we talk about everything we see and smell etc., I also just really enjoy all of milestones and hurdles and watching them grow!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel the most important part about being a nanny is love and trust. We have to love and trust each other if it’s going to work. You have to trust that I have your best interest at heart, trust that I will implement all of the things you find important in our day to day life. I feel that’s one thing that makes me stand out is that I don’t have a one size fits all approach. I really take the time to listen and learn the things that are important to you, the parents and I try to care for your child in the way you wish. I never take a job just to take a job. The love and trust goes both ways.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love when kids hit milestones. I love when they’re working really hard at something and they finally get it. I’ve been in the child care world for so long and there have been so many amazing moments but my favorites are always when they feel accomplished.
