Being able to create a space where the kids feel comfortable, acknowledged, and encouraged to do things. Knowing how to be patient and stay calm in all situations, dependable, and attentive. To be able to express their creativity, be a teacher, and have fun.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I always enjoyed coming back from the weekend off to seeing the kids. They would always be so happy to see me and give me the biggest hug. Or if I'm leaving for the day the youngest would say "Don't leave me" and would hold on to my leg to make me stay. It was the cutest thing ever and I always would tell her I'll be back in the morning.
