A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Catherine, I go by Cat. I am 21 years old and go to school as a psychology major. All of my classes are online so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I am the oldest child of three and grew up taking care of my youngest sibling, my brother. I babysat throughout high school and got CPR certified when I was younger, it has expired but I will take the class again if needed. I live a healthy and active lifestyle that, in my opinion, sets a good example. I have taken two child development classes which have helped me understand how to better interact with different ages. I love children of all ages, however babies are my favorite to take care of. I am from the Sacramento area and recently moved down to San Diego because I have always wanted to live here. Optimism and patience are two of my strengths and self-comparison is one of my weaknesses. I am comfortable with changing diapers, bottle feeding, burping, and teaching the older kids. I can’t wait to start!
