Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have previous experience working with children through a church camp where I cared for and spent time with children with special needs. This experience taught me the importance of patience, communication, flexibility, and making sure every child feels included and supported. I also have a six-year-old niece and a 12-year-old nephew who has autism and his wheelchair bound.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing anything that keeps kids engaged and having fun! Some of my favorites are arts and crafts, coloring, playing outside, going to the park, reading, playing games, and doing little activities that match their interests. I’m always happy to join in rather than just sit on my phone while they play!

I think the most important part of being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while their parents are away. It’s also important to be dependable, patient, and attentive while creating an environment where kids can have fun and be themselves.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs through church camp. I really enjoyed getting to know each child individually and learning how to best communicate with and support them. It taught me to be patient, understanding, and flexible while making sure everyone feels included and comfortable.

One of my favorite parts of caring for children is when they become comfortable enough with me to open up, be silly, and genuinely enjoy spending time together. I love those little moments when you realize they trust you and feel safe around you.
