Hi! I am a very positive, energetic person who loves the outdoors, socializing, and spending time with kids. I just graduated from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA, and this summer I will be home in Lynchburg before heading off to Chapman University in Orange County, CA this fall. I have been babysitting for the past three years and absolutely love it. I am happy to help with anything, from cleaning and driving to whatever else is needed. While I’ve been a student at my boarding school, I’ve loved babysitting for many of my teachers’ children, with ages ranging from 2 to 13 years old. It was always so much fun planning games, crafts, and little adventures for them after school! This year, during my senior year, I also worked at The Butterfly House in Alexandria, Virginia — a warm and welcoming child care center that’s been part of the community for over 30 years. Every weekday afternoon, I helped care for little ones from just six weeks old up to six years old. Whether it was story time, snack time, or playground time, I loved bringing lots of energy, creativity, and kindness to my time with the kids!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing outdoor activities like playing tag, going on nature walks, or organizing little scavenger hunts. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, reading stories together, baking simple treats, and making up fun games. I like finding creative ways to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun while learning along the way!

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and fun environment where kids feel comfortable to be themselves.
