I volunteered in an orphanage in Jakarta, Indonesia for 3 months in 2017 where I cared for children of all ages daily.

Arts and crafts, playing card and board games, swimming, dancing, singing, playdoh, and playing any sports. Though I am always looking to learn something new!

I strive to make sure every child feels safe, cherished, and known. I love to watch infants, toddlers, young children, and teenagers discover who they are while I am able to travel alongside and assist the parents in supporting them every step of the way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I remember one day fondly with a family of 8 I was a nanny for that had recently moved to Florida from Georgia. Their youngest 2 children had never been to the beach before and I, as a native Floridian, was able to plan a beach day with all 6 children and experience that first with them. There was excitement mixed with fear and it was so fun to watch that fear melt away.
