A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Cathy and I’m 64 years young. I feel that I should explain my experience, I cared for my granddaughter every day after she was born until she started daycare at age 5. We wanted her to be able to tell if anything happened during daycare. I also have a second granddaughter that I watched if she would get sick or if daycare was closed. She was breastfed and she attended where her mom worked. I love kids of all ages, I believe they are gifts to be loved and cherished. I believe in interacting with kids and not just letting them sit for hours on an iPad or computer. I believe they need exercise and games to play that will challenge them. I realize I’m not certified in child CPR and that could stop you from wanting me, but I will tell you the absolute truth! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve cared for my two granddaughters since they were born. They are 11 and 9 now. I’m not a professional but I can promise your child will be cared for as if they were my own grandkids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading to them, playing tic tac dough, hide and go seek, ball, cars and trucks, legos, cuddling (if they want) watching cartoons, coloring. I will play any game or do whatever activity they want or are interested in!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being able to connect with a child. I think you have to earn their trust! Then the rest will fall into place.

My experience with special needs children...

I have no previous experience with special needs children, however I am a very quick learner!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I loved it when they would look at me and smile or when they would laugh that pure sweet child’s laugh. There’s nothing that makes me happier than to hear that!
